Nylon, polyester, or cotton webbings may be extrusion coated with a number of materials, including polyurethane and PVC. The coating gives the product a host of characteristics that can fill many special applications. Some examples of its unique properties include excellent abrasion and cut resistance, easy clean-up, chemical resistance, imitation leather, ultra-high surface friction, and heat sealability.
